How To Book

How to Book Your Gulet Holiday with Sanda Yachting

Booking a gulet holiday with Sanda Yachting is simple, transparent and fully tailored to you.
From your first enquiry to the moment you step on board in Marmaris, Fethiye, Göcek or Bodrum, our team is with you at every step.

Below you’ll find how the process works and what we need from you to create the right cruise.

Step 1 – Send Us Your Enquiry

You can reach us via our enquiry form, by email or by phone.
To prepare the best options, it helps if you share:

  • Preferred dates (exact or approximate)

  • Number of guests (adults / children)

  • Your starting port (Marmaris, Fethiye, Göcek, Bodrum, Bozburun, etc.)

  • Your approximate budget per week

  • Type of cruise you have in mind

    • Family holiday

    • Friends’ getaway

    • Honeymoon / special occasion

    • Corporate / incentive trip

  • Any special requests (child-friendly, water sports focus, more privacy, specific dietary needs, yoga, etc.)

The more we know about you and your group, the more precisely we can match you with the right gulet.

Step 2 – Receive Your Tailored Yacht Options

Once we have your brief, our charter team selects the most suitable yachts from our fleet of six gulets and, if needed, from our wider partner network.

For each option, we normally send:

  • Photos and key features of the yacht

  • Cabin layout and maximum capacity

  • Weekly charter price for your dates

  • What is included / excluded in the price

  • Suggested route ideas for your chosen region

You can compare the options, ask questions and fine-tune the details with your dedicated charter consultant.

Step 3 – Place an Option on Your Preferred Gulet

When you decide which gulet you prefer, we can place an option on that yacht for a short period (usually a few days).

  • This holds the yacht for you while you arrange flights, check with your group or finalise your decision.

  • During the option period, we keep you informed if there is any other interest for the same dates.

If the option expires without confirmation, the yacht simply returns to open sale.

Step 4 – Confirm Your Booking (Deposit & Contract)

To confirm your booking, we will:

  1. Issue a charter contract

    • The contract sets out the yacht details, dates, ports, total price, payment schedule and main terms & conditions.

  2. Request a deposit payment

    • Typically, a 40–50% deposit is required to secure the yacht (exact percentage depends on yacht and period).

    • The remaining balance is usually due 4–6 weeks before embarkation.

Once we receive the signed contract and deposit, your charter is officially confirmed and the dates are blocked for you in our calendar.

Step 5 – Plan the Details of Your Cruise

After confirmation, we start planning the finer details of your trip together. This stage is where your holiday becomes truly personal.

We will ask you to complete a simple Preference & Info Form, covering:

  • Guest list with names and ages

  • Dietary preferences and food allergies

  • Drinks choices (soft drinks, wine, beer, spirits preferences)

  • Any celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, proposals)

  • Approximate activity level (very relaxed / mixed / active)

  • Interests: hidden bays, historical sites, nightlife, villages, hiking, water sports, etc.

We then:

  • Help fine-tune your route depending on weather, port logistics and your preferences

  • Coordinate airport transfers on request

  • Share packing tips and practical information about life on board a gulet in Turkey

Our goal is that by the time you arrive, your captain and crew already know what matters most to you.

Step 6 – Final Payment & Travel Documents

Before your cruise:

  • We send a reminder when your final balance is due.

  • After receiving the balance, we provide:

    • Final boarding details (exact pier, time, meeting point)

    • Captain and yacht contact information

    • Local emergency contact numbers for our shore team

We recommend that all guests take out appropriate travel & health insurance that covers yacht charters and cancellation.

Embarkation Day – Welcome on Board

On embarkation day, our team or local representative will meet you at the harbour and guide you to your yacht.

  • The captain and crew welcome you on board and show you your cabins and main areas.

  • There is a short safety and information briefing about life on board.

  • Once everyone is comfortable and the paperwork is checked, lines are cast off and your Sanda Yachting cruise begins.

Changes, Cancellations & Flexibility

We understand that plans can change. Our exact cancellation and change terms are set out in your charter contract, but in all cases we try to:

  • Offer date changes where possible

  • Work with you and the yacht owner to find a fair solution

  • Maintain clear, honest communication throughout

If you are unsure about something, your charter consultant is always just an email or call away.

Booking Through a Travel Agency or Tour Operator

If you prefer to work with a trusted travel agency in your home country, we are happy to coordinate through them.

  • Many of our charters are arranged B2B via partner agencies.

  • Your agency handles your flights and land arrangements; we take care of your yacht, crew and route.

No matter how you book, the yacht, crew and Sanda Yachting standards remain the same.

Whether this is your first blue cruise or your tenth, our team will guide you through each step of the booking process.
